a theory i read

Post by astraldreamer on Fri Jun 15, 2018 6:20 pm

I read something the other day about astral vision and I also experienced it myself the other day.

its like you have two pairs of eyes, your physical eyes and your spiritual/astral eyes and during intense day dreaming or through meditation your astral eyes can open , meaning anything on a different astral plane to ours can be seen.

so maybe those tht have spotted mermaids or ufos or fairies or whatever really did see these things but with their astral eyes not their physical eyes.

like the lochness monster, its been sighted by many but probably will never be found because he isn't from this plane.

Nicely written and expressed.

To me, Dreams are that as well.

Liked your usage of 'astral eyes', well put.

unrelated to topic but I love your signature, nice one Dragon thumbs_up

Back on topic: made me think of those who would take substances to connect with gods/goddesses/spirits and during meditations/journeying/healing rituals

Entheogen's

An entheogen is a class of psychoactive substances that induce any type of spiritual experience aimed at development.[2] The term entheogen is often chosen to contrast recreational use of the same drugs. For example, entheogens are used by curanderos to heal people, but also by malevolent sorcerers to allegedly "steal" people's energy.[3]

The religious, shamanic, or spiritual significance of entheogens is well established in anthropological and modern contexts; entheogens have traditionally been used to supplement many diverse practices geared towards achieving transcendence, including white and black magic, sensory deprivation, divinatory, meditation, yoga, prayer, trance, rituals, chanting, hymns like peyote songs, and drumming

Flowering San Pedro, an entheogenic cactus that has been used for over 3,000 years.[4] Today the vast majority of extracted mescaline is from columnar cacti, not vulnerable peyote.[5]

Entheogens have been used in a ritualized context for thousands of years.

R. Gordon Wasson and Giorgio Samorini have proposed several examples of the cultural use of entheogens that are found in the archaeological record.[6][7] Evidence for the first use of entheogens may come from Tassili, Algeria, with a cave painting of a mushroom-man, dating to 8000 BP.[citation needed] Hemp seeds discovered by archaeologists at Pazyryk suggest early ceremonial practices by the Scythians occurred during the 5th to 2nd century BC, confirming previous historical reports by Herodotus.[citation needed][8]

That's a whole other topic ^ (the substances themselves) but when considering raising ones vibration or lowering it, makes you wonder if substances or environment can open up our awareness of other realms/beings, etc.

I like this idea,

It could explain so many things.

It made me think... sometimes I have seen spirit with my eyes, and when I've gone on to take a picture immediately, the spirit has (9 times out of 10) showed in the picture. Same when I have sensed spirit somewhere, then taken a picture.

This happened recently, I was about to fall asleep but I sensed a loved one was standing beside me. So I took a picture to see if any orbs would show. Sure enough, a figure appeared and an orb right in that spot.

I do think it could explain why some see fairies, angels, and much more.

I have never seen a fairy or anything like this but whilst we  can't prove them, we also can't disprove,,,

I have seen both Angel figures and a genuine looking UFO once at least but will post about this later.

Thanks for sharing astral

aww that's lovely and yes when we are spiritually aware I think our vision is always switching between astral and physical vision, I only have to close my eyes for a few seconds to start seeing visions.
